Junior Sommelier (m/f/d)

As a Junior Sommelier (m/f/d) at the Lighthouse Hotel & Spa, you will ensure that our guests enjoy unforgettable flavour experiences - in our restaurant Landgang, where we serve good down-to-earth cuisine, and in our fine dining restaurant Schnüsch.
With your expertise in wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic specialities, you are a valuable part of our service team. You will contribute your creativity to the selection and presentation of our drinks and help organise tastings and special culinary events.
What does your day look like?
✓ Advising and looking after our guests on the subject of wine and drinks
✓ Support in compiling and maintaining the wine list
✓ Participation in the organisation of wine tastings and culinary events
✓ Support in controlling the use of goods and warehousing
✓ Participation in compliance with hygiene and quality standards
✓ Collaboration with the kitchen and service team for an all-round successful guest experience
What you bring with you
✓ Basic knowledge or initial experience in the field of wine and sommelier knowledge
✓ Passion for wine, drinks and enjoyment
✓ Enjoy dealing with guests and have strong communication skills
✓ Openness to further training and interest in current trends in the wine and gastronomy scene
✓ A sense of responsibility for hygiene, quality and storage standards
