Aloha from Holy Harbour! Our Beach Motel in Heiligenhafen is the second of its kind. Since the end of 2016, we have been welcoming our guests in a total of 115 rooms and 62 chic beach flats, right on the beach. So there's plenty of space for families, friends, two-legged friends, four-legged friends - and everyone who wants a relaxed beach feeling on the Baltic Sea.
And because a real feel-good holiday includes good food and cool drinks, we've really upped the ante: Our Mama Yummy serves pizza, pasta and wine - uncomplicated and easy to take away or enjoy on the spot. Mise-en-place is half the battle? Well, almost... but without service there are no guests and without guests there is no gastro.
We are looking for you if you like to take on responsibility, have experience in the catering sector, manage your new team with care, like to motivate and support your employees and work towards new goals with passion and creativity.

Your challenge
✓ You will manage the "Holyharbour" restaurant and all gastronomic outlets, such as our Amore Bar.
✓ Fill the Beach Motel with life, unusual ideas and culinary delights
✓ Responsibility for smooth operational and administrative processes in the catering area
✓ Responsibility for purchasing, merchandise management, planning and price calculation and a varied catering offer
✓ Main responsibility for the creation of duty rosters and complete documentation of all shifts and thus optimised staff deployment planning
✓ Motivation and promotion of employees and trainees, regular employee appraisals (general feedback, feedback before the end of probationary periods)
✓ Coordination of processes in the restaurant, such as guest reception, service, as well as with the events department and kitchen
✓ Sparring partner for the management
Your basis
✓ Experience as a manager in the catering industry
✓ Further training (master craftsman course, AEVO licence or similar) desirable
✓ Quality awareness, enthusiasm and motivation
✓ Confident in handling and taking responsibility for budgets (turnover/costs)
✓ Comprehensive knowledge of beverage and food science
✓ Team spirit combined with genuine leadership personality and role model function
✓ Organisational skills
✓ "Hands-on" mentality
