Where it all began!

The Beach Motel in St. Peter-Ording is the mother ship of Heimathafen® Hotels: it has been refreshing the northern German hotel landscape since 2013. The hotel is built in the style of American beach houses, with large windows, all-round wooden verandas and cosy Fatboy seat cushions, the motto here from the very beginning was: arrive and put your feet up. No run-of-the-mill hotel conventions apply here, we want you to arrive, feel at home and enjoy a super relaxed holiday.

The 103 rooms and suites are spread across three hotels and some of them are equipped with great extras by co-operative partners. In the Jever Suite, for example, you can expect your own beer tap (included in the room price!), the Fatboy Suite is both stylish and super cosy and the MINI Suite was completely renovated and refurbished in 2018. The Beach Motel SPO also has a restaurant with the most delicious wood-fired pizza anywhere, its own well-stocked bar with equally delicious cuisine, a conference area, a private cinema with games corner and, of course, an Ocean Spa with sauna, outdoor area and relaxation rooms. By the way: you can hire cool bikes from our Cruiser King (including cargo bikes, trailers, helmets etc.) and a round (or two) of shopping is great at the Surfhouse.
